Malchus, a servant/guard of the high priest, certainly had a close encounter with Jesus Christ! If you would like to read his story filtered through my vivid imagination, just click here! 🙂 Hope you have had a wonderful, God-honoring Resurrection Sunday! More than that, I hope you too have felt “The Master’s Touch.”
With the Christmas holiday upon us, perhaps you need to take a moment and just relax… with a good book! I have just the thing for YOU!
BUT WAIT… there’s more…
This little collection of seven short stories are all based on Bible characters (except for the first one–that one is “out of this world!”) I had fun putting these together throughout the year, actually starting last year with a story about Mary called, “Chosen.”
“Strong Delusion” includes all three Books of the End Time Trilogy for you, and is just as much about making right choices for parents and teens as it is about prophecy.
So, Merry Christmas!! I wish I could just give them to you, but… 🙂
There comes a time when you have to choose between turning the page and closing the book.
I’ve recently added two pages to my blog, and I thought I’d give you a “heads-up” concerning them! I’ve really enjoyed writing the short stories on characters in the Bible. You’ll find them under “Short Stories” above. (I hope I’m not insulting your intelligence, but at times I can’t find my way around my own blog!)
“Why I Wrote “A Moment in Time'” talks about the verse in 2 Thessalonians 2:11 which contains the phrase “strong delusion,” and explains the doctrinal foundations on which the story is built. Sound too deep? Remember–I wrote it! 🙂
“Paradise Promised” is about the thief on the cross who hears those wonderful words from our Lord: Today thou shalt be with me in paradise! What was his life like? What had he done? Obviously, we don’t know because the Bible doesn’t tell us; however, we can use our imaginations and perhaps see the cross from a totally different perspective–his!
The mind is an amazing thing! Lately, thoughts have been swirling in my head, and I’ve decided to try my hand at writing short stories. The first one is called How Big is Your God, and you can find it at the the top of the page under SHORT STORIES. 🙂
I remember reading a short story about a young man who came into a room where a huge map covered one wall. People were busy scurrying about and he felt lost. He asked one of the workers if he could help him find his way home, and gave him his address. The man looked puzzle, and the youth expanded his address from city to state to country. When he mentioned Earth, the man’s face brightened and he pointed to a small dot on the map, explaining that he thought Earth was part of that dot called, The Milky Way Galaxy.
That’s the “seed thought” behind How Big is Your God. Hope you enjoy AND if you like it, I hope you’ll try Twleve Smooth Stones!
