Another “peek” at my Christmas devotional. I wrote this in 2020. We had moved in with Mom in August, and my struggle for “alone time” was just beginning. This day’s entry is a little longer because it includes Greg Habegger’s hymn, “His Robes For Mine.”
Then Mary said,
Luke 1: 38,48
“Behold the maidservant of the Lord!
Let it be to me according to your word…
For He has regarded
the lowly state of His maidservant.”
“When the angel laid out God’s plan, Mary readily accepted it, even though it would change her life forever. When she surrendered to God’s plan, she allowed Him to use her to change the course of history as well as redeem men’s souls.”
“We run with champions when we live with an attitude of humility, Jesus being the ultimate example for us.”
