A Rendezvous with Destiny

“You and I have a rendezvous with destiny.  We will preserve for our children this, the last best hope of man on earth, or we will sentence them to take the first step into a thousand years of darkness. If we fail, at least let our children and our children’s children say of us we justified our brief moment here. We did all that could be done.”

`Televised Speech Known as “A Time for Choosing,” October 27, 1964

Lord willing, for the next twelve Tuesdays, I will be posting quotes from Ronald Reagan. In 2022, we had our second-honeymoon trip to California (to see the sequoias), but an unexpected, unplanned blessing was visiting the Reagan Presidential Library. Awesome! I picked up a little book of his quotes, and thought it might be helpful? Encouraging? I’m not sure what it will be except a gift from my heart!

I usually stay away from politics, but this year is obviously different in so many ways. Oh, for a man like Ronald Reagan! I will hold my nose and vote for the Bulldog from NYC, not because I am an avid follower of the man but because I believe his policies are best for America and he does have the integrity and grit to do what he promises to do!
