We have spent the last several days seeing some of the most amazing sites of God’s creation. We have also heard the world’s explanations in numbers larger than I can fathom. It has been a wonderful time, but as I sit here this morning before sunrise on this beautiful deck staring into the flames of the gas fired pit, marveling at the beauty of it, and praying with my husband, my heart is overwhelmed with the goodness of God and the frightening deception of Satan.

IN A PODCAST INTERVIEW, OLIVIA WAS ASKED HER THOUGHTS ON FAITH, SAYING SHE BELIEVED THERE WAS SOMETHING OUT THERE AFTER YOU DIE.

SCRIPTURE DOES. JESUS TOLD US. WHY DON’T PEOPLE READ WHAT GOD HAS CAUSED TO BE WRITTEN DOWN SO WE CAN FIND HIM ON HIS TERMS, NOT OUR OWN?

God is real but so is the Angel of Light, Satan. Our intelligent world is delving deeper and deeper into the spiritual world, but it is not God’s spirit that they are seeing and feeling. When God calls Satan the Angel of Light, it is quite the descriptive title. Unless a heart is open to the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ they will be deceived by his counterpart, Antichrist.
I couldn’t help thinking of Carrie Spangler, the main character in my Strong Delusion trilogy. Her demonic spiritual experiences remind me of what Olivia Newton John describes. When I wrote this, I had an eerie feeling that what I described was frighteningly accurate. Frank peretti’s books “This Present Darkness” and “Piercing the Darkness” both describe the same experiences.
