I’ve been reading though Genesis and enjoying the story about my favorite Bible hero: Joseph. As I read it, I wondered about Joseph’s steward, especially his statement to the brothers:
And he said, Peace be to you, fear not: your God, and the God of your father, hath given you treasure in your sacks: I had your money. Genesis 43:23
Who was this man? What did he see ? What was his reaction to this whole bizarre exchange?
Well, if you would like to see it though my vivid imagination :), take a look at “The God of All That Exists”
under short stories at the top of the page.
(By the way, I have noticed that Jewish prayers are often addressed to the God of the Universe, hence the name of the story. ‘Universe’ means all that exists.’)
